Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 2025

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how All In One Work Hub ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the All In One Work Hub browser extension (the "Extension") and the website at allinoneworkhub.com (the "Website"). Together the Extension and the Website are referred to as the "Services".

This policy covers both the Extension and the Website. The two are treated separately throughout this document, because they handle information differently. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@allinoneworkhub.com.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information stored only on your device

The content you create in the Extension is stored locally in your browser using the browser storage API. This includes your notes, your task list, your alarms and reminders, your saved timezones, and your display preferences. This content is not transmitted to us and we cannot read it.

2.2 Information the Extension transmits

The Extension sends the following information to its application service at api.allinoneworkhub.com:

  • An extension identifier and the extension name
  • The installed extension version and extension type
  • A randomly generated user identifier ("userGuid") that is not derived from your name, email address, or any account
  • The name of the event being reported, such as an installation event
  • Your country code, derived from your network connection
  • Your browser name
  • Referral and campaign attribution parameters, where those parameters were present when you arrived at a page associated with the Extension. These may include campaign, affiliate, offer, and source identifiers.
  • The name of your currently selected default search engine, used to determine whether a search preference change was accepted

The Extension also sends a periodic activity signal (a "heartbeat") to the same service at regular intervals while your browser is running. This signal reports that an installation remains active. It is sent independently of the preference recorded on the consent page described in Section 4.

2.3 Search queries

When you use the search box on the Extension's page, your search terms are sent to the search service at search.allinoneworkhub.com in order to return results to you.

2.4 Information the Website collects

The Website does not run analytics software, does not embed third-party tracking scripts, and does not set cookies. If you submit the contact form, the name, email address, and message you provide are transmitted through a third-party form delivery provider so that we can receive and reply to your message. See Section 8.

2.5 Information we do not collect

We do not collect your name, postal address, telephone number, date of birth, government identifiers, or payment information. The Extension has no account system and no login. We do not collect the contents of your notes or tasks. Outside of the search function described in Section 2.3, the Extension does not transmit the addresses of the web pages you visit.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described in Section 2 for the following purposes:

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Extension
  • To measure installations and to understand whether installations remain active
  • To attribute installations to the referral source or campaign through which a user found the Extension
  • To return search results you have requested
  • To respond to messages you send us through the contact form

Legal basis under the GDPR. Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process this information on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating, securing, measuring, and improving the Extension, and, where you have provided it, on the basis of your consent. Where you submit the contact form, we process that information to take steps at your request and to respond to your enquiry.

4. Cookies and Tracking

The Website does not set cookies and does not display a cookie consent banner, because it does not place cookies that would require one.

The Extension uses cookies in two ways:

  • It sets a cookie on the allinoneworkhub.com domain holding the randomly generated user identifier described in Section 2.2, so that the identifier remains consistent between the Extension and its associated pages.
  • It reads a referral attribution cookie, where one is present, in order to record the source through which the Extension was installed.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Firefox provides these controls under Settings, then Privacy and Security. Blocking cookies may affect attribution accuracy but does not prevent the Extension's tools from working.

Consent page. When you install the Extension, a consent page is shown that describes what data is sent and allows you to record your preference. That preference is stored in your browser. As stated in Section 2.2, the periodic activity signal is sent independently of the preference recorded on that page. We describe this plainly here so that the consent page and this policy do not contradict one another.

5. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We have not sold personal information in the preceding twelve months, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

For the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA"), we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by that statute.

6. Data Retention

Information stored locally in your browser remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the Extension. Uninstalling the Extension removes that locally stored content.

Installation, attribution, and activity records associated with the randomly generated user identifier are retained for as long as necessary for the purposes described in Section 3, and are then deleted or aggregated so that they no longer identify a single installation. Messages you send through the contact form are retained for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry.

To request deletion of records associated with your installation, contact support@allinoneworkhub.com. Because the identifier is randomly generated and is not linked to your name or email address, we may ask you to supply the identifier so that we can locate the correct records.

7. Your Rights

7.1 Rights under the GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right of access. You may request confirmation of whether we process your personal data and request a copy of it.
  • Right to rectification. You may request that inaccurate personal data be corrected and that incomplete data be completed.
  • Right to erasure. You may request that we delete your personal data.
  • Right to restrict processing. You may request that we limit how we process your personal data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability. You may request a copy of the personal data you have provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object. You may object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest.

To exercise any of these rights, contact support@allinoneworkhub.com. We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer. Data protection enquiries should be sent to that same address. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

7.2 Rights under the CCPA

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:

  • Right to know. You may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom it is shared.
  • Right to delete. You may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to statutory exceptions.
  • Right to correct. You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing. This right is not applicable, because we do not sell or share personal information as described in Section 5.
  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide you a different level of quality because you exercised any of these rights.

To exercise these rights, contact support@allinoneworkhub.com.

8. Third-Party Services

The Services rely on the following third parties:

  • Mozilla. The Extension is distributed through the Firefox Add-ons marketplace operated by Mozilla. Your use of that marketplace is governed by Mozilla's own privacy notice.
  • Search service. Search terms submitted from the Extension's page are sent to search.allinoneworkhub.com in order to return results, as described in Section 2.3.
  • Form delivery provider. The Website's contact form is delivered through a third-party form service, which processes the name, email address, and message you submit for the sole purpose of delivering it to us.
  • Web font provider. The Website loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those font files directly from that provider, which may record the request in accordance with its own privacy notice.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. We encourage you to review their policies.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact support@allinoneworkhub.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date shown at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
